Ndubuisi Chijioke is a Civil Engineering graduate of 1992 set from Federal University of Technology, Owerri. He further obtained an MBA Oil & Gas from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, United Kingdom. He has also attended several Executive Management Courses at the Lagos Business School, Lagos, Nigeria. Ndubuisi (or Endy, as he is popularly called) is 45 years old and he’s married with 4 kids.
Endy has had a steady, progressive and un-truncated career and life experience since leaving the Federal University of Technology, Owerri. His work experience started in 1993 immediately after the National Youth Service when he joined Oilfield Inspections Services Limited as a Quality Engineer on Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria field projects. He worked in several of Shell field locations in Bayelsa and Rivers State covering Quality Management and HSE.
In 2001 he left paid employment to private business and attempted several ventures before clinching a major Consultancy Contract with ExxonMobil for the Provision of Engineering & Inspection Services for the company. Endy remains currently the Managing Director of Jimcol Resources Nigeria Limited, a company with activities in Engineering/Inspection, Drilling Support Services, Construction and Hospitality. Jimcol Resources Nigeria Limited has over 200 graduates under her employment (permanent/contract staff) covering all the business divisions with 4 Senior Managers and 6 Managers providing management support. Endy’s business leadership provided the impetus for the ultimate transformation of a 2001 ‘Start-up’ to a thriving indigenous enterprise that is responsible for critical service delivery to major oil companies such as Shell Companies in Nigeria, ExxonMobil, Addax, NNPC and NPDC.
Endy is a very active member of FUTO Alumni Association and was a 2 term Chairman of the Port-Harcourt Chapter of the Association. He has also continued to play key roles at the National level of the Association and very recently was the Chairman of the Committee that delivered on the maiden Alumni Mentorship Programme. He was also the co-Chairman of the Alumni Model Classroom Project for FUTO.
Endy’s personality attributes is accentuated by his humbleness, simplicity, friendliness and general modesty. These have been shaped by near-perfect family up-bringing, education and positive life experiences.
